Great design, poor materials

These look great. I love the straight arms (Oakley stlye) instead of a curve or hook. The styling is great, fit is good, but the frame materials are very shody. The frame itself appears to be metal, but the arms are chrome covered plastic. I ordered these from Amazon and I wore these 1 time; the arm already has a crack in it. It won't be long until it falls off and I have to throw them away. Too bad, because they really do look great. If they were made with better frame/arm materials, I would be happy to pay twice the price.UPDATE: Well, they broke. It took all of about 3 weeks for them to snap completely in half. I was not abusing them in any way and I am very careful when I am not wearing my glasses. Very disappointing.

I'm enjoying my new sunglasses. The first time I received them, they arrived poorly packed in an envelope and smashed, but Amazon quickly sent out a new pair. They aren't super sturdy, but they look great! I very much appreciate the polarized lenses for driving in sunny Florida.

...would have loved these for the price but the arms are only metal about halfway......my daughter player with them once and broke them......all they would have to do is make the arms metal all the way and I would have bought another pair...
